Seems like it's a Radio Shack specific siren, which is weird to think about. I never thought they'd sell sirens of all things. It's like the TRS-80 of sirens.
That is the siren portion of an home alarm system that Radio Shack sold back in the 70's - early 80's How it worked is that the alarm was wired into a switch(s) that could be placed on a door or window. If the door or window where opened, the alarm control would activate the siren. They also sold an automotive version of this as well that ran on 12v

Hamburg Iowa. Im hoping to get a picture of Riverton's Model 1 while I'm in the area.

Powerlines prevented me from getting a good shot from the front of the building. A 2001-SRN IS across the street.

That Sterling's port ratio looks rather odd.

It's probably just me because one of the stators is just offset by a few degrees.

Here's 2 photos that are just stuck in my files.
Hall County Siren 01, a Whelen Vortex R4 that replaced a Modulator in 2018.

Proud owner of nothing!
Hello, fellow siren enthusiasts. I am losing interest, but will be back on the board from time to time.
