Here's something interesting I came across fairly recently, an old sterling in Conway, Arkansas. The siren is long gone.

The siren shown is now removed, it was replaced with an STH-10 that sat across the street (also now removed.)

I still post here, but not as much as I used to.

Is that a Decot behind the Sterling?
Proud owner of nothing!
Hello, fellow siren enthusiasts. I am losing interest, but will be back on the board from time to time.

I'm unsure, but it could just be an unconventionally shaped chimney.

It does kind of look like a Red Arrow, but I don't really see a mount or a pole.

I was looking at it closer, and it seems too tall to be a Decot. If it is a siren, judging by its overall shape and height, it may possibly be a Cosgrave.

Back on topic, here is a photo of the Thunderbolt, formerly at Fire Station 2 in Little Rock, AR.

It's a roof...

Here are some cool photos from 1983 showing what was left of the Civil Defense and Fire siren systems in Salt Lake County. Sirens were gone by the early 2000s.
