Here's one! Just a few months ago, I was looking at old pictures of the Police Department in Oconomowoc, WI trying to see if any of their old sirens were in any of the pictures and I came across a picture with the old, rare Codewell/Cosgrave siren in it! Check it out:
https://www.oconomowoc-wi.gov/DocumentC ... ure?bidId=

When you click this website, scroll down to page two in there, look on the right hand side, and you'll see the P.D with the Codewell/Cosgrave sitting atop it!
Oh boy. I keep going back and forth. I see exactly why you’d say it’s a Cosgrave but that pointy top just SCREAMS Decot, which I fully suspect it is.

I'm thinking Cosgrave, it's too tall to be a Decot. On the ground, that thing is probably nearly twice as tall as the guy next to the entrance of the building.

Believe it or not, it IS a Cosgrave because I remember seeing an old siren advertisement thingy saying the first Codewell Cosgrave was put up or made in Oconomowoc, WI. If I find the ad about it, then I'll send it to you.

Please do share if you can find those old ads. As I was waffling back and forth on what I thought that siren was I wanted to find those Cosgrave ads and I couldn’t. The documentation will be neat to see.

Here's a neat one for you all. This is the 80th precinct of the NYPD in April 1972. The precinct and siren no longer exist, but the building still stands. It's at 645 Grand Avenue, Brooklyn.

That's an interesting mount. I wonder why there's scaffolding around the siren.

A 3T22 at the Branchport, NY Fire Department. Taken around 1985. The siren still sits at the station to this day on the very same mount.

I also tried that vintage aerial website. It was pretty neat, and I found this on the website. Near the bottom of the photo, a Thunderbolt is visible.

Seeing as how it appears to be just the siren on the pole and nothing else, I think maybe the photo was taken when the thing was being installed and the scaffolding could've been for guys to work on it, like putting controls on or something.
