That Mendon thunderbolt is a real shame, I bet its something simple but it'll get replaced anyway. I wonder why they still have the 3T22 up?
I loved hearing that Shawnee thunderbolt when it got fixed, beauriful sound it had...too bad, I think it's gone now.
Anyways, here is one that's been posted before, but most certainly worth noting:

^Bolivar WV, a clogged up 3T22 (not mine).

^2T22B in Springville, IN that Bill recorded (obviously not mine). It was later replaced by a T-128.

Just for some clarification...busted rotators happen pretty frequently it seems, same with backwards wired Thunderbolt blowers and three phase ACA sirens. Is it possible we can omit these from this thread? That way we can see which sirens are really sick.

Here I found a 1000AT from hawaii that seems to have brush problems. It sounds pretty sick. It has just been replaced recently by a Modulator II.

man forgot about that 2T22 lol, thanks for remembering Springville. and yep a 128 replaced that. speaking of which, there is a video of a 128 in IL where a hawk is sitting on it and when it goes off it wavers a bit on start up but sounds fine afterwards

That model 2 sounds like it has bad brushes in it's motor.

Bonneville County's only 3016, I doubt it's been fixed yet.

This is my video of a model 5T in Pacolet, South Carolina I recorded last april. to me, it doesnt sound too good. The pitch keeps dropping throughout the test, along with it just plain not sounding right with lack of proper terms. I think the motor may be going on it.
