Just found this on youtube. I am ever so proud to say that I provided parts to restore this siren that
is producing one of the most hellish thunderbolt sounds I have ever heard in a video.
I think it sounds extra nasty because you never see the siren in the video.
This is the same siren that had the well pump motor on it.

Hey, that's not too far from me! Do you know if that Thunderbolt was originally there, or if it came somwhere else?

Whoa! What makes it more creepier is when all you can see is darkness but you can still plainly hear the siren.

Do you know if that Thunderbolt was originally there, or if it came somwhere else?
They have had it for a long time. If they got it from somewhere else it was a long time ago. It's mounted on a windmill tower with the blower on the ground at the bottom.

Thanks! I'll have to look into Rensselaer County's cold war history, since I have a sneaking suspicion about a siren system existing...

I live in Rennselaer County, 6 miles away from the Thunderbolt, and I also want to know if they had a siren system, I'll try to do some research too!
