I mentioned some time ago that we had a Thunderbolt that was installed on a fire station; address: 2083 Commerce St. Columbus, Georgia. I took a couple pictures of it yesterday for the test while my grandfather and I were looking around. It seems likely that it was originally mounted on a concrete pole like how some were back then. Check out this thread of the Thunderbolt concrete pole and picture of one of the Thunderbolts next to a WPS-2810.

The station form the front:

Here you can see the pole from behind the station. It's actually mounted on top of the station. It is a little lower than the Whelen which is mounted on, I want to say, a 65 foot pole. The top of the old pole is about 40 feet above the ground.

View of the top. Hello conduit!

I couldn't get a picture of the side of the pole, but there seems to be a piece of conduit about the same diameter of what would be on the Thunderbolt's 5M blower coming out of the roof with what seems to be capped off... I wonder if the controls and blower are still inside.
