Yesterday, I went to Waterloo, IN to get the STL-10 at the fire department. At noon, nothing happened. So a few minutes later, I went to the fire department. I knocked on the door and a guy came, and I asked if they were testing. So he went to ask someone else about it. At first they thought halloween was the first Saturday. (You read it right!) I showed them a calendar on my phone and they realized it WAS the first Saturday, so central dispatch was called and they were told it was the first Saturday. The test ended up being 10 minutes late. After dispatch activated Waterloo's STH-10's, but the STL is activated by push button, and it only ran for 30 seconds.

After Waterloo, I headed up for Coldwater for the Vortex, and got there at 12:52. The siren most likely has busted drivers, and it sounded like an ambience. During the test, you can hear the 2 :2001: sirens in the background that replaced other Vortexes.

WARNING Several bad stretches in the video are used for stabilizing due to it being a blustery day, and there are random spit-second blackouts. I don't know why this is caused.
