Yellow & Black Striped Thunderbolt

Thu Oct 27, 2016 4:47 am

I've seen many striped thunderbolt 1000s on the internet, but yet cannot find any footage from one, Only seen one in Trinity & Beyond
I'm talking specifically about the Thunderbolts that have the Yellow & Black stripes (I originally said red & black but i just found out that they are yellow & black)
I'm curious because i've heard that those are bigger than the original Thunderbolts

I think Jeb painted a thunderbolt red and black. Maybe it was someone else that did that.
That didn't change the size of the siren. It stayed the same size after painting.
I have never seen another red and black thunderbolt other than that one.
All thunderbolts are pretty much the same size.
Of course anyone can take that for what little it's worth because after all I am no longer a "SIREN EXPERT" on here any more.

Well they aren't. They are the same size as all of the other Thunderbolts no matter what the color.

I think there is only one person on here who carries the badge... It doesn't even look to be a recognized rank anymore. You know how much you know. Doesn't matter what badge you have. That being said CVD777-1 here is right. I personally have never seen a variable size thunderbolt. Maybe the battery compartment to the thunderbolt 7,000 series but the head itself is still the same size. The thunderbolt 1003 I seem to recall you (CVD777-1) telling me that it's slightly bigger than a 1000 but only in the rotator and the addition of the solenoids. And yes that was jeb and he's the only guy I've seen with a red and black bolt. Never seen a red and black one stock... Only yellow and black.
Own and love a Thunderbolt 1000 and a Model 5.

I have many hobbies and interests. And I love them all.

The yellow and black ones were also no larger than the regular Thunderbolt: It's just a paint scheme. There's one located in Knoxville, TN.

Ok, I don't really think that they are bigger than the regular Thunderbolts, I've only heard about it.

Only the very early Thunderbolts had that paint scheme. Knoxville, Denver, and several other places had the yellow and black striped Thunderbolts that have since been dubbed "bumblebolts". Here's a picture of one of Denver's old Thunderbolts that had that paint scheme:

Is there footage of an official, very early Thunderbolt?
