Sat Dec 09, 2023 8:12 pm

A siren not previously seen on YouTube, the Klaxon ES2S in Low Moor, near Bradford in West Yorkshire...

I'm finding plenty more sirens in the north of England which I will be able to go to in the near future, so watch this space!

No, the Klaxon SS6 is not a Sentry 95...

There are not enough videos of these! This is very cool. I don't think there is a video of them doing anything other than hi-lo and alert.
Sirens may not be sexy, but they sure work.

Wow, that’s so cool! I didn’t actually realise that there are no other videos of this type of siren on YouTube, which surprises me a bit given the way they sound!
A British siren enthusiast. Previously lived at the furthest point from any sirens before co-discovering one very close to where he is located. Also features a great discomfort referring to themselves in third-person.

To be fair, there's a few videos out there - one of mine included - of an ES doing hi-lo and/or alert, with examples in Port Talbot and Grangemouth both recorded doing the former tone as well.
One video does exist of the new Broadmoor siren doing Wail on its only recorded test (it's tested silently now), but the video isn't the best quality (with all due respect to its producer) as it was filmed from the far side of the site and it was hard to hear for most of it.

The thick of night; crazy seeing a siren being tested so late!

Probably my fave electronic-siren tone though!

Absolutely love the video, makes it also very eerie in the dark
