Yep. I'll be working on it alot in the summer. After I get the motor back from the shop ,I got to get a motor for the Paxton blower. Then after that I will get the horns and frame made.

Sorry for derailing your topic, Duderocks but may I know what's special about SONGS's STL-10?

Apologises if I'm not fully aware of.

Nothing was special about them ,they were just Standard STL-10s. But the one thing like the Model 120s ,the STL-10s had there controls inside a ground mounted cabinet as well. The top pictures are the Model 120s controls inside the cabinet. The STL-10s had the same cabinet except it had Federal controls inside. Also you can see in one picture one Model 120 has its controls mounted on the pole. I believe John told me only about 3 of them in the whole system had their controls pole mounted. And those were sites away from the ocean. The reason why most of the Model 120s and STL-10s have their controls mounted inside a cabinet is so they won’t rust or carode. The pictures you see are 3 different sites right after installation in September of 1982. The STL-10s were put up a few months prior. SONGS old system: Sep 1982-Nov 2005.

Ok ,heres an update. So Im most likely going to half to get another 1 HP motor due to the one I have being manufacturer defective. So Hopefully the company we bought it from will send us another one for free ,or for half price. And as for the 5 HP motor to drive the Paxton blower ,I don't know when that will get done due to the money I currently have ,and 5 horse motors are about $600 and It needs to have at least 3600 RPM to drive the blower efficiently and to produce not only high CFM ,but also alot of back pressure. My goal is to get the blower and rotor working by the end of this summer. And as for the horns and frame ,the horns will be around maybe $1800 to make. And the frame will be around $2000. They wont get done until maybe early next year ,but possibly earlier.
