i know i've shared a ton out of this on the FB page and discord but i wanted to share the video! I have no backstory from the guy I bought it from other than it came from Burlington Wisconsin from the seller. can't tell the date from the serial number. still trying to contact him and see if i could get any info
Nice grab! Could use some oil though as Zarlog said.
How am I to do so and what do I use? It's been running me ragged lately not mad at you man I just really want this thing to last me a long time since it will most likely be the only siren I ever get to own

Update: i managed to get the motor apart and all that needs done now is oil the rear bushing and seat the brushes back in place. What would be the best lubricant for sirens in general?

Bearing oil is best, otherwise just use some oil you find in those dropper cans.

light machine oil or sewing machine oil is what I used on my L.
if you can find it than definitely use bearing oil
After a few days of tearing it apart and greasing the back Bushing this is the result. The rubber covering that protected the wires coming from the motor had rotted and got ground up into the siren. which on top of having the bushing being so dry, my dad and i think the combination of things caused the rough start. Tell me what you guys think!
