I found this long lost recording from February 2013 on my old PC. This wouldn't have been too long before the Minneapolis system was replaced with Whelen Vortexes. This video was recorded from my backyard in Columbia Heights. The ambience from here sounds nothing like this today, the only sirens you can hear are higher-pitched 2001-130's and Whelen Vortexes. You can hear a 4/5 port thunderbolt pretty well in this recording, I actually don't know where it was but I think it might have been the one on top of the fire station on 27th Avenue and Johnson Street in Northeast Minneapolis. All I can say is I really miss hearing the 4/5 thunderbolts on testing day. I don't have anything against Whelens but I really liked the way the old system sounded from my house. :(

Creepy how they all had a delay in the windup!
