Nice recording! You can hear quite nicely the relays clicking around in the box, and a couple of choice words :P!

That doesnt sound like a P-10 at all. sounds more like a Cyclone...

The Cyclone is the one that starts first in the distance (it has a B-flat tone if you're musically inclined).

It (the Cyclone) is basically the "baby brother" version of the T-135/P-50.

Now a *dual-toned Banshee* sounds like that P-10...only with a dynamite-fast wind-up/spin-up.

In my old town of Meriden, Kansas they had a Banshee and a Model2 and i was at my freinds house (seeing distance from the banshee) when they tested it and i do remeber it sounding like that.

Sounds more like an allerter.

The Cyclone has the same motor and chopper as the T-135/P-50.

I love the way the Cyclone sounds in this recording, very aggressive tone. Great recording.

That was one of the best recordings I've heard yet. I'd probably have yelled a few four letter words too if I'd been that close. Too bad this I'll be at work on Monday during our monthly test. Oh well hopefully I'll be able to in August since that may be my last chance to record it for a long, long time.

I got a recording of the cyclone at the Londonderry Fire Company in the TMI test also used for Fire calls. I live about 6 miles from there and I can still here this siren usually at night when Londonderry gets a fire call. I'm going to fig out a way to post it on here. I was about 10 feet from the siren and my ears were ringing after that. Extreamly loud. I should have used earplugs :D
