Here's a pretty low ASC T-128 in Neopit, WI. It replaced an EOWS 115 a while ago. https://www.google.com/maps/@44.9805371 ... 384!8i8192

Low model 5 I found on the internet
Dear Lord that looks huge!
I've stood next to that one in real life before. I live like 30 minutes away from it. It is REALLY low. It is a Model 7A, by the way.

And using Google Maps to calculate the time it'd take to drive from Chatham, NJ to the Wisconsin border, that's a 13/14+ hour long drive, not including traffic delays, construction, or rest stops/fuel. Even flights don't reach from Chatham, NJ to Wisconsin that fast, it's a 2 hour flight at the least. And mind you, this is all just to reach the BORDER, not the town this siren is located in. Sniff, sniff... I smell BS.
Uh... that 7 is at the Whippany RR museum in Whippany, NJ. Where'd you get Wisconsin from???

*Bump* Sorry. What is the difference in range of a low mounted siren and a high mounted siren?
Your local Missouri Siren Hunter and Railfan.

Usually higher mounted sirens will carry farther since there are less obstructions and more space for the sound to travel.

The 3T22 in Halfmoon-Waterford is currently being restored while the fire station is building a new one in it's spot, after they're done, it'll go back up, that's what they told me
I'm from Rensselaer County, NY, where we have a wide variety of sirens!
