There was a tbolt at 7th and Bethany Home??
There were Thunderbolts all over the city. I have an image from 1954 of a 2000 on top of a Fire Department somewhere. I'd be willing to bet there's still one or two hiding somewhere that someone hasn't found yet, but with the deactivation of the system, many came down.
And I think I have that picture of that thunderbolt on top of a fire station.

I didn’t see this mentioned yet so here I go. In July of this year I found (in person) what appears to be a sterling M-5/10 in Tacna AZ north of I-8, I have no information on its status or how long it’s been there.

Thanks to a help of a friend, I found where the siren at the Phoenix WWTP is. It’s a whelen vortex! Not sure about testing tho.

Glad there's finally information on it! Nice find!

I believe testing is the second or third Wednesday of the month. I've heard it activate anywhere between 9 and 11 a.m. I work right across 27th Avenue from the plant, so I hear it very clearly.

The Oblique imagery from the Maricopa County GIS Aerial Maps show it very clearly. Can't believe it was so hard to track down.

What signals does it sound?
Sirens may not be sexy, but they sure work.
