Possible rare CLM siren refurbished and installed in a small town

I have relatives who live in a small town in Ontario and I occasionally visit. On my last visit before lockdown I noticed a siren on top of a fire station that I had never noticed before. A little more digging and I discovered a facebook post by the fire department confirming that the siren was in fact new, however the facebook post also mentions that it was a refurbished siren from 1950 and it is one of the last of its kind. It looks like a Carter to me so I checked if any Carters were installed in Canada and found that CLM produced some carters and I believe that is what this siren is. If anyone can verify the type of siren it would be helpful as I would like to film it testing.

Cool! I'll see if I can line up my next visit with the next test so I can film it.

Here is a video of a user here who used to own one winding it up with a drill

Presumably he still owns one of the two and sold the other to another person here.

Not likely but maybe he was the one who sold the siren to the town.

Actually it sounds a lot like a 10/12 siren since it's 20/24 ports, same port ratio so doesn't change a lot, someone already 3D printed one and it sounds awesome and exactly like a 3T22

That's because it is running at a lower RPM, 1750 I believe. The normal RPM for sirens is around 3300RPM.

Oh well I didn't know. I'd heard that he sold one and refurbished the other.

Going there this summer so I will see if maybe they could test for me to film it.
