What happened to West Milgrove Ohio's Model 5 or 7 that used to be on top of the village hall/fire station?
Is it going to be refurbished or replaced?

Just a guess, but based on the size of the town, and how the population was 174 in 2010, they're probably restoring it. I doubt that a town that small could afford a new siren.
Did it work before it was taken down?

The last time I heard the siren was back in summer 2014 during Wood County monthly test (1st Saturday @ 10AM)
but I came back before Covid lockdown (Dec 2019) & it was gone
