Hi all, does anybody know what this siren is? Looks like a model 5/7 but with long legs?

most likely just a 5/7 with a custom shroud that makes it seem taller

Have we considered this is not an American siren. It is in Australia.

After poking around for a bit, this does not appear to be an official Federal Signal/Fedelcode product. After looking at the street view for a while, the quality of this siren seems relatively poor. Also, this siren is not quite the right size to be any Model X siren, so I guess this is a homemade siren.

Since this is in Australia, I'd throw a guess that it's 1 Grifco with a custom Model 5/7-looking housing.

I'm thinking it might be a Grifco.

I wouldn't just slap "grifco" on there. It appears to have a chopper around the same size as a Model 7 and it also appears to have a support bar coming from the stator assembly going up into the shroud. It might be a Model 7 with a custom shroud. (Don't say that it's unreasonable for a siren to get shipped all the way there. I've seen several examples of sirens from Australia in America and vice versa.)

I've seen a couple model 7s, a presumed cyclone, and new Whelens (Vortexes I believe) are being installed every year.
And hey, the 888 was based off of the Model 2, so that
technically counts as an American siren. And there's like 500 of those.
