Virginia Siren Map

With a crazy 4-day work ethic, I pulled this out. In all, I present the Virginia Siren Map with more siren locations, and random uncoordinated systems around the state.

I think it is about time we solve the mystery of the Whelen in Falls Church.

Oh my have I forgotten about that. Well, the mystery will remain a mystery until a "breakthrough" with detailed information of its true whereabouts comes along. Personally being a resident of the near area, I have never heard it; even when being nearby the suspected siren site.

In short : The audio cue was helpful on what to look for, but the absence of information was not.

Took a lil' trip to VA about a month ago.
That thing in Winchester is a Dual head Fedelcode Type 7T. (I think it's 10/12.) It's inactive. I'm gonna try to get it.

Berryville's and likely Boyce's sirens test every Saturday @12pm. I learned this from a fire fighter.

Nice map! I have a question, when I was looking at the Arcola allertor description, it said it was moved. Move to its current pin or moved to the main department in the town?

Thanks. Whenever I input "(MOVED)" on the location tab, I mean the department as a whole moved to a different location, not the siren. Sorry for the confusion!

Also, this siren's long inactive. Been dead since before Peachtreesirens took a picture of it.

Tangier also has a 10v on the building next top the substation on Janders Rd. There's few more sirens I know of that you don't have, I'll see if I can remember them and list them here.

Also, if you want to see old aerial photos, check out https://vintageaerial.com/ It's where I found a LOT of NC sirens that are long gone

EDIT: Looks like you have most og everything I was going to suggest! I'll keep looking though. Also, Blairs VFD had an STH10 that was removed around 2003 at their old station

Another note, the South Boston Model 5 siren may be removed, it was on Govdeals.com last year
