So me and SirensOfNewYork found this a couple days ago. As you can see, this is a WPS-4000-8 on a tower.
But this looks quite similar to some of the Chrysler siren mounts that I've seen.
Example:

So, have we found something new here or is this just a normal tower that looks similar to a Chrysler tower?

I don't think it's an ex-Chrysler siren location. I have seen plenty of towers that look almost identical to a Chrysler tower but never had any siren installed on it before. It would have made sense for something non-siren related to have been on that tower at some point

I don't believe it is one as it seems to be too small. Also for what it is worth Finland did purchase German Pinstch Bamag sirens according to hochleistungssirene.de.

I've never seen an appendix or one of the other related sirens on that kind of tower.
This does seem much too small to be a Chrysler tower. Mods, please lock this thread as the question has been answered.

Wait...
Do I see two WS-3000s facing away from the photo on the rack just below the 4000-8?

Wishful thinking. Those are controls for the 4000-8.

Why would there be two controls for one siren? Seems odd.

Likely extra batteries. Whelens (2809s) near my house have them.
