Yamhill, Oregon Mystery siren

This little thing is located at the FD in Yamhill, OR and is a very active fire siren that replaced a Darley Champion(now kept in garage as backup. They love their sirens!). It’s been puzzling me for a while. It has the 3 louvers, louver spacing and proportions of a Fedelcode 2, but the rounded cap of a GCS. I’m leaning towards modded Fedelcode 2. Whatever it is, it’s too small for the town.

Either this is some sort of GCS branded Model 2, or could just simply be a modified Fedelcode Model 2, if not, a Canadian Model 2. That's my best guess.

I've seen one of those before. This IS made by GCS, and it is a 2. I think it may be one of the earlier rebrands.

Looks like a GCS model two, those exist but are fairly rare and hard to come by. I think I've seen a picture of one before.

I 3rd the call for GCS Model 2.

Also, are there any photos of the aforementioned Darley in storage? I'd assume it's a smaller model given the replacement.

Most likely a GCS Model 2.

I think pix of the champion are on the siren archive. (Anyone still go there?) Anyways, great find! Looks like I have another siren to go visit!

Yes, in fact when I visited for the first time several years ago they let me in and showed me the Darley up close. Kudos to the Yamhill FPD!
