New system coming to Beverly Hills, California

Hey guys, thought I would drop a post here.
Beverly Hills, California has a siren system coming into works, and it's looking good. This is interesting as a California city like Beverly is getting sirens, which has been pretty uncommon. Most cities in California are getting sirens because of wildfires, which of course is a growing threat, though, Beverly Hills has mentioned the sirens are going to be used for other public safety hazards.
They are expecting 12 pole-mounted sirens, which are all going to be electronic for the voice capability. They will be placed at city-owned properties.
Those areas could be:
- Two sirens in the Trousdale Estates area most likely at the water tanks
- 1201 Coldwater Canyon Dr area
- Greystone Mansion
- Beverly Hills Fire Dept. #2
- Tropical Ave in NW Beverly Hills
- The Maltz Park
- Beverly Hills Park/Historic Cactus Garden
- Beverly Hills Park at N Palm Dr and Santa Monica Blvd area
- Roxbury Park
- La Cienega Park
So far, they have done mobile unit siren testing using Federal Signal Modulators at Roxbury Park and the Greystone mansion.

Not only Beverly is getting sirens, but there are also other cities planning to get sirens. A big one is Malibu. Idyllwild has received their wildfire siren which is a Sentry 14v, and by the looks of it, they are planning to get more.
A great advance of sirens being used in California again!
