Hi everyone, I was recently driving down North Broadway street in Chicago when I stumbled across a first-gen Federal Signal (not sure of the year) model A. the siren is located on the front of what looks like an old warehouse or factory. I can tell that it has been there for a while due to the condition of the paint on the siren and the age of the building it's on. I don't know any information on what it was used for and when it was installed. The address of the building that the siren is located on is 4015/4013 North Broadway st in Chicago.

That used to be a fire department... those windows on the front used to be the doors. That A was used as a street clearing siren.

I am not so sure this used to be a fire department. Can`t find any photos of it and the building seems way too large to be a fire department. But I guess that it could have been at one time.
