The Siren Board

I remember seeing a photo of a rotating Scream Master siren in a newspaper dated around 1952 to 1956. This siren had two heads, like a 550-DHTT, but had a 20hp motor and had an output of 125 decibels at a 100 ft.
I scoured Google, the entire forum and also on the ARS subreddit, but couldn't find the photo.

That looks similar to a 550-DHTT; I wouldn't be surprised if they used the same rotating mechanism as the 550-DHTT.

They did not have a rotator, they were a stationary siren. That unit was located in Merced, California.

I was already suspicious that they didn't have a rotator, looking at the bottom of the siren. My suspicions are true now, that they didn't have a rotator.

I don't believe Scream-Master made rotating sirens, but they did distribute the 500-DHTT. There was a 500-DHTT near Denver that was mounted on a Scream-Master pole.

Rotational 125 DB units existed.

Your right, Scream-Master did distribute Federal products, Colorado Springs is a good example. Here's some information about their system. DETT was Scream-Master's way of naming the DHTT. Kind of how when Darley redistributed Screamers, they called them Champions in the adverts.
Those Model 10s were the Federal Model 7s they had.

Interesting that this document calls the company the Scream-Master Corporation, as the company's name was originally R.J. Zievers, Inc. There must've been a name change at some point.

That is surprising to know. I probably assume that the Rotational Scream Masters' rotators are probably based off of the 550-DHTT (I am not quite sure if there are still manuals around of the insides of a rotational Scream Master. My original assumptions that the rotational Scream Masters weren't rotational, but they were.
