The Siren Board

Earlier today me and my dad were driving around Rhinelander just exploring. We went to a T-128 west of downtown which was behind a few trees. While I was trying to get a little closer to the controller, I noticed that there was an Alertronic on the ground, just laying there. Even the pole is still attached. Apparently someone owns it, I don’t know who. I just call it abandoned since it’s on the ground in the middle of a group of trees covered in moss and mold. The controller is on the ground near the bottom of the pole, detached from it.

Well.....that's...an interesting find. How long has it been there? I'd reckon a decade at least.

This looked absolutely massive when you showed me over FaceTime! I wonder if that supposed Alertronic 5000 came to a similar fate. Maybe parts of it still exist.

Such a shame. Who would "own" a decrepit siren just laying for years on city property?
