When I first became a siren enthusiastic, there was always a siren that bothered me. This siren was apparently once a Sentry 3V8. (Or at least the remains of it) It was or the remains of it are still located at 1943 Union Valley Rd, Hewitt, NJ 0742. But all that remains is the lower mounting bracket and the control box there is no siren to be found. Google maps only take me back to around 2008, and yet there is no siren to be found sitting on that pole. It was most likely used for announcing a delayed opening or snow day when telephones were not as popular as they are now. The Township's website even displays a section about how you can hear the sirens blast once at 6 in the morning if a delayed opening was happening at the school. I have linked a Google map to the post this is where the siren is or was located. If you have any information on this siren's whereabouts where it is how it got there or any photos from the past it would be very helpful in my investigation.

Thank You
