A few years ago I was lucky to go to west shore services. I don't know if anyone knows mike but he was there and after a quick tour he gave me a SD-370 driver and a federal signal fc controller. I don't really know how to get it to work together.
I was able to wire the driver to an old Phillip stereo and that seemed to get the driver to work. but I just don't know how to get the fc controller to work. I have have looked at a manual thanks to Charlie Davidson but that didn't really help. there are two inverted vga ports though. the quick question is how to get the driver to work with the controller?

The FC is able to produce electronic signals as you've probably already figured out, but in order to access them, the controller has to be reprogrammed to do so. If you don't mind, drop a photo of your FC board so we can see what revision the board is because the older boards use a different programming cable than the newer ones do.

First things first, did you intentionally remove the CPU? That board does not have a CPU in it, and well that means it's a paperweight if you don't have it. If you do have it, then great! We can move on.

That's a first generation FC, so all you need is a DB9 null modem RS232 cable to interface with it. Very common cable and easy to get your hands on. In order to make it produce electronic signals, you'll need to have it reprogrammed since they don't do this by default. After it's programmed, you'll find a signal on the JP1 speaker output in the top left corner of the board. Push that signal over to your amplifier and you're good to go.

Oh interesting, that's actually an add-on for FSK two way functionality with newer control systems. Glad you have it though. Was worried that you picked up a controller with no CPU.
