St Clair County IL is replacing and upgrading it's hodge podge system of warning sirens. St Clair County is just across the river from St Louis and includes a number of communities such as East St Louis, Dupo, Sauget, East Carondolet, and a lot of unincorporated development. Here are links to stories from the St Louis area TV stations

ATIs? Really? I hate how good they are at suckering cities into buying their junk.

Where did they say that? I watched all 3 videos and read all 3 articles and there is not one mention of what vendor they are using.

I read an article posted on Facebook that clearly stated that "Acoustic Technologies, Inc" would be the new vendor.

None offhand, but if you look around I wanna say it mentions Acoustic Technologies Inc, and a few Locals confirmed it in a discord call the other day.

If ATI is what they're getting its still much better than what they have now. They've ironed out the bugs for the most part. Arnold MO's have served them well for 15 years and they are in use at a number of military bases and some larger cities. Are they the finest sirens ever? No. But they'll function and if they save a life/lives then they'll have earned their keep.

Thanks for the info! I actually live near there. I drive through the county and see those sometimes. Nice to know they are upgrading, even if it isn’t very good!
