one thing that should help you is replace the capacitors.
the capastors age and at some point have to be replaced.

Federal really should bring back the SiraTone and the EOWS lineup, one thing I like about the SiraTone is there is no exposed wires unlike the UltraVoice, The UltraVoice's signals also sound more crappy, and not as much time tooken into detail unlike the SiraTone. I hope the Repair goes well.

Hate to break it to you, but the UltraVoice is constructed better than the SiraTone in every way imaginable. The SiraTone is like a bowl of spaghetti noodles compared to the UltraVoice. The SiraTone has wires everywhere. It's honestly kind of aggravating to work on in the field compared to the UV. Detail is definitely something I would not use to describe SiraTone. It's a prototype that worked ok enough to toss into production.
