I wasn't able to go investigate, but I spotted what looked like a Sterling M3 while passing by. Forum search didn't bring up anything. Has anyone familiar with the campus seen this?

The front of it is too blury on streetview. It is in front of the UNK facilities building, cordinates are 40.7011962, -99.1047733

That indeed is a Sterling Model M. BTW it was found out that sirens like these are now called Model Ms, no longer M3s, M5s, M10s, K5s, etc.

Yup, "Y-10"s are also just coded Ms, and the "K" sirens turned out to be "VX" sirens. It's crazy how much has been discovered about Sterlings recently.

I wonder if it is active. And the pole looks like it wants to tip over!

Didn't we just say Model Ms are no longer called N5s/M3s, M5s or M10s? Might want to reread a previous post.

I doubt it as there is a Thunderbolt not too far away, and Buffalo Countys EMA facebook page has an official siren map linked on their monthly siren test posts, and it isnt shown on there.

He seems a bit young. The younger ones are always the most resistant to change, give them time.
