Long story short im in the process of trying to get approval to take down a long disused Sterling 2v8. I know its comparable to the Model 2 but does anyone have a rough size and weight of this? Trying to gather some options but looking at a towed 35ft boom lift or similar to aid in removal.

Hi Bryan. I work on boom lifts for a living, and I will say a siren of that size would ride down with you just fine in even a towable manlift, as long as you are not too hefty yourself. Just consult with the rental company on capacity for the specific lift they have available. That 2v can't be much more than 80-90lbs. Just a guess on it weight wise.
