Lion King’s MS-190 design was copied from another company.

Well, while browsing through eBay for siren listings, I encountered this thing.

This appears to be some sort of small siren, with a VERY similar design to the MS-190. For example, here’s mine.

Now I’m not sure exactly who made the original siren however the listing does show images of the box. The box unfortunately contains no manufacturer information.

This is without a doubt a 190 predecessor as the box is very weathered and the siren itself looks old.
Image credit (except for mine) goes to eBay. Here’s the listing if anyone wants to check it out: https://www.ebay.com/itm/204246015231?_ ... %7Ciid%3A1

Not surprising considering they ripped off the model 2 and 2001-SRNB. They even copied the Chrysler.
Proud owner of a Lion King LK-100 hand crank siren. I also can also brag about riding behind a "Climax" locomotive...almost 10 years later.

They've been ripping off other companies' sirens for well over a decade now. This is what China does. Not to mention the epidemic of counterfeit products coming from there.

Yet we still trade with them...

I was entirely aware of them making copies of other manufacturer’s sirens, however I believed that the MS-190, being how simple it is, wasn’t copied from another company. Then again it was probably stupid for me to assume that they didn’t copy it.
