I found this on reddit literally the title is the first thunderbolt ever

At the moment, a unit with the serial of apparently T57 has been documented, although the tag itself is extremely illegible as it had been sandblasted. Many members of the community doubt that the tag actually reads T57. It being the oldest existing unit remains unconfirmed.

If we are talking in terms of confirmed units, that would be T73, which is ex-Knoxville, Tennessee.

The oldest installed unit is T75, which is currently in service in Wichita, Kansas.

Is there such thing as a "oldest Thunderbolt 1000T"? I've been wondering about that one.

If you were wondering, that's a VERY early prototype of the Thunderbolt. That part on the top was actually the pressure release valve, which now sits next to the blower!

In terms of the oldest known manufactured 1000T, that would be T-420, of which the blower of is in Upson County, Georgia. Said blower is currently mated to the head of T-507, while the head for it is MIA.

What's the oldest unit to have a chopper swap? That would be T-119, in Wichita, Kansas. T-119 is a Jailbar, fyi.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, I'm just going by what the serial registry says.

Whichta's Thunderbolts are still in service ??? I thought that Sedgwick Co. (Wichita) got a new system 10 -15 years ago. I was just there today (North side of town). Where is T75 located ....I get down to Wichita at least 2 or 3 times a month, would like to see it.

Yup! They were actually just restored and put back into service earlier this year, now rocking the "Bumblebolt" paint scheme. T-75 can currently be found at Sedgwick County Fire Station 32, in Park City, KS. T-104 is located at Wichita Firehouse 20, and T-116 is at Sedgwick County Fire Station 38.
T-79 was also preserved, but it's being used as a demonstration siren and is mounted to a trailer.
