As soon as I get it running!

Things to complete-

Aquire12v Bendix Auto-Choke
Aquire 12v starter solenoid
Plumb up fuel line
Aquire a couple gallons of leaded fuel
Wire up both starting, ignition, and charging system
Fabricate battery box
Tighten down flywheel and install rotator drive pulley
Straighten out, repaint and mount air cleaner
Permanently bolt on stator and bearing spider down with new hardware
Also is that solenoid going to be used to make it coded? (edited: Yes I figured out that it's not, so stop smiting me)

Thank you everyone for the kind words and comments. We are inching closer and closer to hearing a BN52G blare for the first time in decades! I can't wait myself!

No huge progress the past few days, but here are a few small updates.

I did find out I indexed the stator wrong on the stator mount plate. The bearing spider would have been off of its proper location by about 45°. It was easily corrected by separating the stator from the mount plate and then re-indexing. The fit between the plate and stator is a pretty tight tolerance, so re-seating is done gradually by carefully drawing the two parts together by going around the mount bolts and tightening them a half turn at a time.
I'm using brand new grade 8 bolts for the this purpose. Up to this point I have been able to reuse most of the original high-quality vintage Rockford Fastener hardware. Unfortunately the original stator bolts got pretty crusty being in the elements for 60years!

Update on the projector. Still waiting on Mike at West Shore to get me the price on the shipping. Sounds like they have been swamped with work the past week. He has the 1st Gen Allertor projector separate, placed inside the shop, and ready to strap to a pallet. As soon as he gets me a price, I'll be snail-mailing him a check. He's pretty old school, so patience is required!

I plan to start doing the light-gauge wiring in the next few days as time allows. Still need to stop at Engines Service to buy both a starter solenoid and Bendix choke module.

End of work-week update.

Installation of chopper/stator and bearing spider is complete.

Began making the repair section for the lower rotator belt cover. The remnants of this cover are getting closer to straight.

Flywheel nut has been torqued and rotator drive pulley has been installed

I was also able to align the rotator gearbox with both pulleys using a straightedge. Belts can now be sized and installed at some point.
