A Model 5, Fedelcode 2, and round-back 2001 at a VFD in Blue Summit, MO. The 2001 and Fedelcode 2 were added in the last 5-6 years.

Re: Kansas Statewide Map

Here's a couple I know that weren't on the list/need updated. West Mineral: STH-10 at 210 Olive Street. Leon: second Allertor 125 at 303 West Charles Street. Wolcott: 2001-SRN at Elm Street and Wolcott Drive. Galena: the SD-10 at the high school off of Wood Street is gone as of fall 2017 with no rep...

Re: Carthage, MO Federal Signal 508-128 & Pittsburg, KS Whelen WPS-2907

Nice recordings! Is that Thunderbolt near the Whelen you recorded still in place? It was still active last time I was down there for a test so I'm wondering if it finally kicked the bucket. They were both located incredibly close to each other for active sirens back then.

Re: Stewartsville MO 500AT

It was still in place as of last December but I don't believe it is active. Stewartsville's 500AT has been pointing southeast since I first saw it in 2008 and I haven't ever seen it move. I went there a few years ago in an attempt to record it for the statewide drill but it never sounded. It's stran...

Re: Jasper County, MO Sirens

Sorry for dragging up and older topic. I know the Kansas side of the that area fairly well so I might have something to contribute. As mentioned, Pittsburg's system is a made up of Whelen omni's, 4 Vortex's, a trifecta of 2001s with Whelen cabinets, and a single 1000T at Lincoln Park. It's still act...

Jackson, Lafayette, and Cass county siren maps (in progress)

The title's kind of self explanatory. I made these maps a few years ago for the Kansas city sirens thread. There's been a lot of moving and shaking since then. So I'm slowly updating them and I'll post them as time goes on. I'm currently working on just the Missouri side. If you have anything to add...

Re: Rare 10/12-port Allertor(s) in Lee's Summit, MO?

Sorry for bringing up an old topic, but I may have a little more information on this siren. There were at least two Allertor 125s in Lee's Summit that were both installed around the same time: 3rd and Douglas downtown and 1st and Murray next to a church. The Murray siren has been replaced with a 200...

Joplin had a few older FS sirens as well. I think someone found a video of a tornado that hit near Joplin 2-3 years ago with an SD-10 and either an STH-10 or an RSH-10 going off in the background.
