Re: Franklin County, Ohio Siren Discussion

So, apparently one of Dublin's sirens malfunctioned earlier today before the test. It seems like it was the 2750 at Llewellyn Farms Park near Tuttle Road and Frantz Road based on the description from the city police. I recorded that unit in July of 2020. I wonder what signal it went off in. Did anyo...

Re: Franklin County, Ohio Siren Discussion

This is a little late, but I would like to provide a quick update on a few sirens in Dublin. Firstly, the 2750 that was located near the Dublin Entrepreneurial Center and Interstate 270 that's kinda tucked away in the trees was taken down. Well, not completely, the bottom half of the pole, the contr...

Re: Cincinnati Metropolitan Area Sirens

Yep, Clermont County canceled today. I was at the P-15 on Locust Corner Road along with some other enthusiasts. My parents live in Central Ohio (Columbus area) so I drove four hours round trip for nothing. But wow, didn't know the other three counties in the Cincy area cancelled their tests today as...

Re: Franklin County, Ohio Siren Discussion

Something must've happened to the story because I can't find it anywhere in London on my part. The only recording of a Madison County test on YouTube that I know of is the RSH-10 in Mount Sterling going off in attack. There are two videos of it, one from 7/19/2013 (a Friday) and the other from 7/2/2...

Re: Franklin County, Ohio Siren Discussion

While I can't confirm this, it is believed that the analog ESC-864 originally from the Whetstone Park 4004 was relocated to the unit off of Merlin Drive behind the Kroger off of Schrock Road in Westerville sometime between 2014 and 2015, considering that the pitch it's set to is the exact same, and ...

Re: Franklin County, Ohio Siren Discussion

Sorry to double post, but another 4004 in Franklin County with an analog ESC-864 was just discovered today. It is the one at Woodcrest Elementary School on East Livingston Avenue near Woodcrest Road just southwest of Reynoldsburg. Here is a video of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yhWfOdl4kbI

Re: Franklin County, Ohio Siren Discussion

Franklin County has been installing brand new 4004s. One went up this summer at the corner of Trabue Rd. and McKinley Ave. That one has actually been there for about 20 years now as it has a digital ESC-864 controller. Here's a video of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IAqrVSG-rZs Maybe it was m...

Re: Franklin County, Ohio Siren Discussion

Yeah, it may not even be the Homestead Metro Park 2805 being heard, for all we know it could be a Franklin County 4004 somewhere nearby that is unmarked on siren maps. I got an audio recording of the Hilliard Davidson 4004 this past June (although I never posted it to YouTube), which I once had a su...
