Where is the Welland canal Model 2?

It is on top of a cement building that is just beside the water. It is very difficult to see unless you know it’s there.

Re: Historic Plaque

Bump and a late update!! This is the same city as the one with the yellow CLM. Our local news paper did a story on the plaque and siren. Here is a link if you'd like to read it: http://www.stcatharinesstandard.ca/2016/03/11/air-raid-siren-blast-from-the-past Also, sorry if this is a misuse of a bump.

I'm with you there, the man I was working with has been out of the office for a few weeks. I'm hoping to talk to him ...

Re: Historic Plaque

I don't see how it is mobile, other than the rotation It's supposed to say "Mobil Directo", but I guess someone thought "Mobil" was a misspelling of "Mobile". Ahh, I see... I'll have to email that to get it fixed. I even double checked the cities drafts of it before th...

Historic Plaque

To start off, sorry if this is the wrong section to post this in. Some of you may remember my post about the yellow Omni-Directional CLM, and how I stated that there was a forgotten Mobil Directo in the city. About four years ago, I emailed the city to see if I could get a historical designation for...

Re: CLM Siren

Yup! I took a picture of that too! I don't go to Toronto often, but I'm going to start looking out for some sirens when I do! Usually I just forget to look. That's the sign! Pretty sure every siren had one of those. I know the locations of all the known sirens in Toronto so if you want the location...
