Re: What is the worst siren you have heard?

Don't know if this counts, but the worst sirens I have heard to date are the 2001-130s in Boys Town, NE with dying batteries. They stand out in an ambiance from a distance.

Re: UPDATED (SIREN EXISTS): The Whelen WS-2500

I hate to bump this topic, but back in November I took a trip to Indian Cave to go ahead and attempt to identify some of the sirens. No luck. Most, if not all, of the older sirens have been long since removed and replaced by newer 2900 sirens. As for the two or three supposed WS-2500 locations, I a...

Re: The official and updated Missouri Statewide map

I have some updates referring to the CNS System. The 3016 that used to be at the boat ramp was replaced by a 2910. The siren in Brownville is a 2910. There is a 2910 at these coords (40.273522, -95.574395) replaced the WS-2020 adjacent to it There is a 2910 at these coords (40.252772, -95.553588) T...

Re: Nebraska Statewide Map

Murdock- Eclipse 8 next to the water tower has replaced the model 5. The model 5 MAY still be on the water tower, but is inactive. Nate has a video I know and I think maybe Jack's Vacs & Safety may have a video that could confirm if the 5 is still on the tower, but this much I know it is inacti...

Re: Nebraska Statewide Map

Hello Again, I recently took a trip down to Indian Cave State Park and took note that there were some 2910s in the park now. The 2910s I found were at 40.273538, -95.574416 and 40.252721, -95.553561. I suspect NPPD has replaced all of the WS-2020s however parts of the park were closed for the day w...

Re: Nebraska Statewide Map

I don't know if you guys have noted this, but the Fort Calhoun Nuclear system has been taken down. Most of the sirens from that yard are now sitting in Blue Valley's yard in KC. As far as I know, Blair kept their sirens from the system, except for the SRNB at the car dealerships. They kept the SRN t...

Re: UPDATED (SIREN EXISTS): The Whelen WS-2500

There is supposedly a WS-2500 still left in the Cooper NPP system nearby the Dar Pro Solutions/Fairfax building on Z highway. Someone should picture it. Also another unconfirmed one at the northern end of Indian Cave State park out in the forest, something like that would definitely be worth the hi...
