Re: Minneapolis, MN old siren system

I've never seen a RSH-10 (Thunderbeam) in Minneapolis. St. Louis Park, a suburb of Minneapolis, still has two of them - one on 34th street (2 blocks behind Knollwood Mall) and the other at Peter Hobart Elementary. There was another one in St. Louis Park across the street from Miracle Mile, right abo...

I stumbled upon this SD-10 (the only one I've seen in Minneapolis) the other day. It's located right off 42nd Avenue North & Lyndale Avenue North, right behind a Wells Fargo bank.

The other was located right off Excelsior Blvd and County Road 101. The second one I tape recorded in 1989, usi...

Re: Minneapolis Thunderbolts said to be replaced within a year.

Minneapolis had at least 2 Allertors. There was one on a building on Broadway Ave N.E. (in the Mid-City Industrial neighborhood) until about 2006. It was very low mounted.

Re: Minneapolis, MN old siren system

Do you recall seeing an Allertor in the mid-city industrial Minneapolis area? It was on top of 2112 Broadway St. NE. I've never seen or heard anything on the Internet about that one. I used to see it when traveling down 35W. I think it's been about 10 years since it's been there but it was unmistaka...
