Re: Sebeka, MN Mystery siren.

Sorry for the bump folks. I believe you should contact the city about it. Although they might tell you to "Shut up, we don't care about this old piece of scrap metal," it's still worth taking the chance. This siren was confirmed by a member of this board to have been scrapped years ago. S...

Re: Sebeka, MN Mystery siren.

Guess who's necroing this thread again? I took a peek at the MN Siren Map, and it turns out the mystery siren in Sebeka is just totally gone. https://www.google.com/maps/embed?pb=!4v1681108440685!6m8!1m7!1sxPdn6KTRwUH9HdXPd4JbNg!2m2!1d46.63047220358968!2d-95.09555992291888!3f84.67117266880317!4f-2.2...

Grandview CLM - Has any information regarding it come up since it was discovered?

Hello all. Today I remembered about a little rabbit hole I dove into a few years back, in 2019. My family was going to go to Canada, but our plans were shelved. On that stop I was determined to see myself a CLM. So I located one that used to be in Dauphin, Manitoba. So I got in contact with some wor...

Re: Rosemount, MN ASC T-121 REMOVED?

Hmm, perhaps it's down for repairs or something like that? Very interesting. Given the fact that a T-121 is a rather modern siren, I would be quite surprised if it were replaced.

But then, why would they remove the solar panel and controls? Maybe I'll have to check it out some other time.

Model 2 with evenly spaced shrouds

Greetings, everyone. About a year ago, I saw an old Model 2 in Browns Valley, MN. I pretty quickly noticed a few things about it. Firstly, it's painted orange! Secondly, all of it's louvres are spaced evenly apart. I know regular 2s have the louvre closer to the bottom, and I believe Fedelcodes have...

Re: ACA Hurricane 130 siren

Just a little update here. I wish I had better news, but it turns out they don't sell anything from the scrapyard and they won't let the public in either. Which is understandable considering liability issues and all that, so I don't think I'm going to go any farther with this. If someone else wants...

Re: Triple Siren Setups

Not sure if this counts, but there's a Trio of sirens in Robbinsdale, MN. There's a Model 5, a 2001 SRNB, and an Erick all right next to each other. I think the Erick is used as a Curfew siren, the 2001 a weather siren, and the Model 5 is inactive. Location of these sirens on Street View: https://ww...

Bump: there is another in Hamburg MN not to far from Cologne.
Yup, I know about that one. That one is inactive though, and there's a 2001-SRNB right next to it.

Re: Sebeka, MN Mystery siren.

I'm sorry about replying to an older post, but Sebeka, MNs Decot is no longer active according to their public works. I have them a ring a while back and asked them about it. He said that it's inactive due to motor issues, but said that if they do repair it, he would definitely give me a call back t...
