Re: Shattuck, Oklahoma Thunderbolt siren

It's a newer 1000 with 4m blower I believe. Not sure if it is refurbished, but it seems likely. Shattuck has two model 3's as well.

Re: Shattuck, Oklahoma Thunderbolt siren

Exactly what uncommonsense said. Sorry about the low quality picture. The siren is a Thunderbolt 1000, I think it is on chopper level 6. I'll try to record it for a noon test.

Any Idea what this thing in Roundup, MT could be.
I'm thinking it could be a Sterling or a Denver with this custom housing.

Pretty impossible to tell without seeing the cover removed, but it could also be a Federal Type B.

Is that even a siren?? If so, that's tiny!
It looks like it might be an antenna of some sort.

That would be a Darley 3v8
Its housing looks different than what I usually see on a Darley 3V8. Looks like it has the top of a Sterling K-5 or 2V8 siren, versus a cone hood. Any info about this difference?
I've never seen one like it.

That's what I thought. I might go record it soon, Laverne isn't too far from me.

Re: Post your Mystery Sirens here.

I found this on the water tower in Laverne, OK. I thing it is either a Darley or a Sterling, but I'm not sure.
