I still wonder is that supposed solenoid Hurricane still exists. Where ever it is.
I think it was confirmed from Jim Biersach himself that the "solenoid" hurricane 130 was actually a 3 signal capable one, the 3rd signal being pulse.

Looks to me like it was an Eclipse the whole time.
True. Although, I heard from an in-depth report that there is an STH-10 in Austin. I assumed that was where it was since I couldn't find any elsewhere.
But hey, at least the T-bolts are genuine.

Re: Solving the mystery of Austin's remaining sirens.

Don't get me wrong, having a siren that close to me certainly is cool, but the Eclipse-8 isn't the best sire...

Re: I was given my first siren from my boss!

Does yours have a backwards rotor like mine? I got one of these from Amazon, and when cranked in the expected direction (clockwise, as seen from the back), the rotor turns the same way as the crank. The problem is, the vanes on the rotor (the "L" shapes) are facing the wrong direction for...

Re: Strange Fedelcode Creation

Kind of reminds me of the Fedelcode Model 5QC, with the 3 cones... But it's probably not that, since the bottom cones are farther apart in the 5QC. Not sure.
