Franklin Co Ohio had a few roof mounted jailbar thunderbolts installed on schools. One was located on Columbus South HS and was removed in 2007-2008. One still remains inactive on the Ohio State School for the Blind. It is located here: 40.069607,-83.012221

A picture of one of the old Columbus Ohio Thunderbolts on top of Columbus South High School. Siren was removed in the mid 2000s and replaced by a 4004. I beleve this unit was also one of 9 initial jailbar 1000s.

I have only heard a handfull of these sirens. I dont record and go out on test days much.

I hope a replacement siren is in development. As sad as it is to see the 10V2T go it was time to retire the siren. With no battery back up the siren could not compete.
