I highly doubt its actually being repaired, lightning strikes screw up sirens in multiple ways. Frying the controller, destroying the motor, etc.
Until proof is posted about these claims being true, then I don't think I'll believe it.

I discovered this a while back.
There was a Sparton Model 38 in Parkland, WA. (South of Tacoma.)
Seemed to have been a fire siren. Building was turned into a house. Building is now pretty run down.
Siren is long gone.

Man, I can't believe someone is actually restoring one of these! This is by far, one of the best restoration jobs I've seen for a siren, and I've been in the community a LONG time. Great job my guy, can't wait to see it up and running! She looks REAL GOOD!
