I wouldn't recommend powering a thunderbolt straight from a power source (I think it might hurt the thunderbolt but I'm not positive.), so a controller would likely be necessary. Ok then, you do have a 3d printer right? So you should be able to make a new chopper if yours brakes.

how get stator off: stator is screw, turn the stator and pull it out. how get rotor off: bend the pin and pull it out, get coaster off, and twist the rotor, pull out. also there has 4 balancing rings. It’s hard to figure out but I just twisted the stator off, like if it was a screw.

Motorizing a hand crank siren.

Somewhat recently I got a hand crank siren as a present. I want to motorize it but I’m not sure how to go about this. Can anyone help? ( I took off the chopper and stator from the hand crank.) (shaft hole for the chopper is about 8mm.)
