First one is a Brooks Motors siren, notable for having fully unitized construction, with the stators and motor going together as one unit. This is unfortunate because it makes them exceedingly difficult to repair if one of the stators cracks. Did you get what the label on it says? That's the one. N...

A couple of sirens in local museums (UK).

Apologies for the quality of the photos but they were taken on my phone or are stills off my digital video camera. I would think so. Unfortunately I had my didn't have my good digital camera with decent zoom with me so couldn't get a good closeup. I may be over there later in the year so will make a point of getting a better look.

I've seen other British installations like this, where the siren is mounted to a wall instead of the roof. Are there no residences on the other side of this building?
