Ancient-looking siren in Arbyrd, MO

Found this over the weekend. The shroud does not look familiar to me and it appears to be pretty old. Couldn't see any controls on the pole. Any ideas?

Here's Anderson Township's Thunderbolt 1000T on Anderson Township Fire station 6 on 7967 Beechmont Avenue. This was part of Cincinnati, OH's old siren system. Heard plenty of sirens from the Alexandria area, plus NKU's Modulators went off with a voice announcement(!).
