Oooh, another great post! I did know that most of the ACA/ASC sirens underwent several name changes, but these are new to me. At least now I know where "PN-20" comes from, because it always puzzled me why it wasn't simply called the P-20.

I compiled a big list of siren decibel ratings at one point, and I believe I found that the M-10 puts out 120 dB at 100 feet. Not sure how accurate that rating is, but it's what I found. The one you heard could've had something wrong with it too.

I'm not a trucker, but I have a few siren experiences while driving. Nothing really to write home about though; I've driven past a few while they're sounding, and I may or may not have almost crashed the car after spotting a new siren I've never seen before...

Well technically they did make more than three sirens. For one, there are at least three different sizes of the Siro-Drone: the tiny 2HP version, which I believe is known as the Type 92, and the larger 5HP version, likewise known as the Type 95.
