From the looks in the pics I'd say they'd would rather see it all go through the shredder then let it go to someone who would possibly cause false alarms and pandemonium in their eyes. It's a shame to see those 2/3t22's all banged up like that....

Imo, if it kept tripping the breaker with no plates on, something else was causing excessive load on it,being that it is seized up now.It also looks like the rotor was rubbing against the stator on the 10 port side...

Jeb, what sticker did you place opposite of the CD sticker? I can barely make it out in the video. I'm also kinda surprised that the siren didn't peak a little higher than that being a three phase marathon motor,it peaks about the same as my single phase 22. I thought the marathon motors peaked high...

It's a "Y" wound motor and already set up for a 208/230vac 3 phase source. Here's a diagram that you can connect the dots on but since you have a 9-lead motor; 10, 11, and 12 in the middle of the Y are all already connected together internally. http://www.tpub.com/ceb/11038_files/image640...

OK, you guys made me study up on open delta! Another "El cheapo" way of cutting costs in power distribution is using single wire earth return, or SWER. You use the ground/earth as the return path. But, it's not too efficient, with soil conductivity greatly affecting this set up. A...
