My folks home was located aprox. 100 yards West of the school....

....Interesting...the middle picture shows the flat head in line 6 cylinder (pre 1961) where as the power was provided by a 331 cubic inch Chrysler Hemi V-8 as referenced in pictures here and else where.

I'll try and be of some help here...... I took one of my weather radars down to street level (easiest for me)..... There is a city park located 1 blk North of where highways 136 and 75 intersect....in the city it would be located on the N.E corner of 11th & J street....it sounds like it is comin...

It's not noon, but its South East Neb........

....Doesn't this dept. have more serious issues to ponder? The sirens purpose is to warn of dangerous, perhaps life saving incidents, we here all know that.....so is this dept. now weighing the cost of a human life or lives over the minimal cost to operate a siren....even if it is a 3 ph. I was not aware that this is a PRIVATE forum..... You posted first opening up this topic for discussion, now if you don't like the answer that I provided to this thread then so be it..... I can show you several antennae's that look identical to someone that is not that familiar with them and each on...

That's a decent antenna for broadcasting.......there's an Amature Radio band that starts at 50 megs......never talked off of one that I am aware of.
